A nasty, stomach flu has slowed us down since returning, but the pictures show a brisk, cold holiday on the, "Sunshine Coast" of B.C. (plus some great carvings by my mother in law!)
The Wisteria is gorgeous. I love the carvings the little guy with the fishes makes me smile. The coastline, trees and scenery is so different than anything I have experienced. I love the insights into parts of your section of the world. Happy New Year. I'll be posting my Celebrate OZ party invitation this Friday, stop by and see if you might like to join in the fun. The Olde Bagg, Linda
Hope you are feeling better, soon! (I've got "the bug", too. YUK!!!)
Love your photos. I truly want to get to your part of the country(ies) soon. It has always intrigued me...the moss covering the tree trunks, the rich greens...and browns and grays. It's so very different from Florida. Love your mother's carvings, too. They truly FIT their environment.
O, Susan, too bad about feeling bad while on vacay...hope you're getting better...rugged Suncoast...but so green. I never expected that...I guess you're not all that far from Seattle which is pretty temperate because of the ocean...like B. C. ? Do I have that right? I haven't been to British Columbia but have managed a trip or two to Seattle...
every time you post pics of the landscape there, i miss it. it is just so gorgeous. its gorgeous here too, just different and i have much to still explore. happy new year ~laura xx
What a nice experience I felt here in property sunshine coast all that I need for a apartment is here already hmmmm…it’s perfect to me, The moderate climate and even year round rainfall makes it one of the greenest places in Australia…

Beautiful place and great carvings. Hope you feel better soon!
Beautiful photos! And I love your MiL's carvings -- especially the face among the ferns. I hope you feel better soon. Stomach flu sucks.
So sorry you're ill. I had some kind of virus 2 weeks before Xmas and nobody could diagnose me. ugh.
Your MIL's sculptures are wonderful. So woodsy & whimsical. Your photographs of the flora are lovely.
Happy New Year. Get better!
