Hotel Ojode Agua....Puerto Morales.....fifteen miles from the Cancun airport.....

lots of boats about to take you to the reef for snorkeling...great snorkeling from the beach too.....
not too crowded.....
view from our third floor room...restaurant out front....
they don't have a website...but they are right on the beach in Puerto Morales....great spot!
I love a tropical breakfast......
Flying into the Cancun airport can be a little intimidating. If you don't have a game plan you might get very stressed out by all of the mayhem. After a long flight, I just want to get situated, have some refreshments, and a swim.  Only fifteen miles from the Cancun airport is the fishing village of Puerto Morales. The reef is close off shore and the swimming and snorkeling is superb. We happened to stumble upon a great, Mexican run, hotel right on the beach for only $80 a night. ....a deal in these parts. They do not have a website so they are off the radar of most tourists. So, grab a cab at the airport and within minutes you can be in paradise.....

The colours of the ocean and the white sand are really making us miss Mexico. Sure wish things would clear up and warm up here in Nova Scotia.
