anticipation

I decided the girlfriends had to put their arms down for awhile. Not that the celebration is over. Celebration is all the more poignant because of it's rarity. Anticipation of celebration actually hangs out with us more often. Knowing that celebration is ahead keeps us engaged. Gives us hope and a reason to get happening. We're all shopping for meaningful experience. It IS in the distance.....

Susan,
I am so GLAD you stopped by Artfully Graced! Your visit gave me the chance to meet you and to see your wonderful art!!! Of course, the name "Mermaid" caught my eye...

Your paintings are FUN...whimsical...colorful. Just my kind of art... I know what you mean about selling your paintings...more happens when YOU are having fun doing it. I think your enthusiasm and joy exudes, especially in your ladies. How is the etsy store working for you? I have been thinking of trying it with my paintings.

Look forward to seeing more...and learning more about you.
Jane (artfully graced)

ps It's not quite warm enough to swim in the gulf...at least for this FL native. But the sand and sun is warm. I took these photos in two different locations...St Augustine, FL and Hollywood, FL.

Hi Susan, I love the passionate expression of your art - reminds me of Georgia O'Keefe and my mother's art too, it suggests your spirit is just as open and far flung :)
I look forward to following your work..

I feel like I've had such fun while visiting here. The flowing dress, I've been dancing. Beautiful work.
