We are at the in between time. It's the tail end of winter and the tip of spring. We call it, "spring break." The schools let everybody out of their confining walls for two weeks. That's wonderful if you are able to take the family away on an airplane to a warm destination. But, if you are trying for some warmth and weather here in Canada...too bad. It's a little early. Too early for most outdoor activities. ( other than the winter favourite...skiing ) Most ,"spring" actitvities, like bike riding, kite flying, skateboarding, basketball, soccer, and playing catch are best enjoyed on a warm day. Warm is just not happening in Canada quite yet. The high country is still frozen up and the valley bottoms still have a daily frost. There are going to be lots of kids in swimming pools around the country as their parents rack their brains for some fun activities. In a couple of weeks everything will pick up...but oh ya...the kids will be back in school then. Maybe somebody should mention to the school boards that ....timing is everything....
Spring Break - Florida. Oh, to be young again. Ours is next week - however, baseball games every night. I think I might loll in the pool during the days since no teaching available. Enjoy!
Hi Susan, Wonderful images here on your blog... Thanks for following on my blog. Last fall we did a road trip that took us through Kaslo and Nelson, what a wonderful and gorgeous area. Loved both towns...! Delorse
