I can still smell the smoke in my hair....

It was a lovely day yesterday and we headed up the Slocan Valley for a blazing bonfire and a visit with good friends. Their homestead is right on the Little Slocan River, very private and pristeen. One thing about Canadians, once the weather is good, we live outside. Around here a good firepit is as necessary as a four wheel drive vehicle. Ahhh, spring....I can still smell the smoke in my hair.....
