It's a beautiful day....

Pablo is in palliative care at home, in stable condition, resting comfortably. His old age disease is tough in the mornings. I have to carry him out and feed him by hand and squirt water into his mouth with a baby syringe. When I know he's full of water and food, I slip him an advil.  Then he sleeps for four or five hours. After that he is back to his old self...no pain, no worries. He's a night dog....but then I always feel ready to howl in the evenings myself!  It's a beautiful day....

Gorgeous place you live in. I am in Utah, which has incredible mountains and dessert. Kinda barren compared to what I grew up with in Virginia!

I am new to following you. And must tell you that I love your art, your thoughts and I love your love of your furbaby. It is kinda hard for me to read but I must. I am being compelled to do so by my love of dogs. I just lost my giant furbaby in April and it is fresh. Your Pablo is a very fortunate soul to have you to love him.

Thanks for the lovely, revealing shots of your neighborhood. Pablo looks comfortable and I'm glad you've found a productive way to care for him in his last days. He's a lucky pooch.
