What a magical time of year summer is in my garden. I'm not much into weeding and clipping. I really just like to let nature take over. In the spring I spend a lot of time fertilizing and mulching. Through the summer I mainly just water. Everything is overgrown and a little messy.......shabby chic gardening.....

Gorgeous garden!!! You're an ambitious one. I garden three planters on my balcony and that's enough watering for me...meanwhile, my garden in Florida is going bonkers in the heat and I'm not there to cut it back. Come October, I'll be out there with a machete!
Oh Susan your garden is beautiful and lush- I love the natural beauty of everything-
The yellow flower is my favorite- it looks so soft and I like the element of texture.
awesome! i think the first shot is tiger lily? i love when those are just about to fall off the plant. i gather them because they look so beautiful. i keep them in a glass bowl to enjoy and then put them on the top of gift bags in the tissue....
