the difference between your brain and your mind......

I heard a wonderful explanation for the difference between your brain and your mind. Think of a violin as your brain. Play the violin,......  the  music is your mind.. Creativity flourishes in your mind. Memorization  is brain work. Problem solving is done by your mind. Rote learning is the brain's job. Most of us have experienced arriving at a destination and not remembering how you got there. The brain did the driving while the mind wandered...........  I like to work intuitively because it allows the mind to take over the process.  When we give ourselves the freedom to just create without judgment or any preconceived ideas, we can discover so much. .... It doesn't matter if anybody likes it. Picasso created major works of art that nobody liked. They were monumental because they changed the direction of art. Why?...... because they made our minds think differently......

because of being alive since the dinosaurs you'd think I would have pondered this thought at least once, alas no. This is great brain fodder. I love this feeling of getting a new notion. Thanks very much.
