it may be old....but it has character....

ceiba tree...sacred to the Maya...they grow in every town square and are usually huge......
......texture, patina, character, depth, ........comes from aging.....(same goes for people....)

HI .. I'm Jana who met you in Paty's Vase Tienda in Muna. A friend of mine from the Ashram is now living in Nelson and I sent her your link. The world just got a bit smaller. I am so happy you enjoyed your journey and btw your photos are enviable in perspective and beauty.

I've always preferred older things. That's a great buggy!

Your blog is fabulous. I have just have a look at it and it is really inspiring and your paintings are somehow magic and a lot real at the same time.
I was going to ask you for prices but I will leave it for another time and just enjoy them for the time being.
You also bring a lot of optimism in everything you do and show, a much needed good nowadays!
I guess I try also to show my sort of beauty in my blog, but I would say to be nice on mine, that they are complementary :-)

sometimes there is more beauty in the "ugly", the old, the worn and the tired than in the traditionally beautiful and pretty things we are supposed to love. for reals!
