the sun shone and spring kind of arrived....

water is low right now...wait until spring runoff starts...all that snow melts all at once....
Nelson is up the valley behind the trees....spring burning makes the town folks crazy.....
Nelson is a town of heritage homes that climb up the mountain....I'm 7 miles out of town...climbing a lot of the way!
no green buds yet....
early spring in my garden...I'm lazy, I never put anything away...snow covers it for five months ........
I planted lots of bulbs when my dog died last summer.  It was therapy...and they just showed today.....
went for a walk in the park...
I really appreciated that splash of color....
I'll be back.....
that's what I'm talking about....
just down the road from me are the most amazing greenhouses...I go there to get my hit of negative ions.....
driving into Nelson, I stopped for a picture. That's our airstrip along the waterfront.
The sun shone today and I was out and about........feeling fine in spring sunshine.....

It's beautiful. Snow? We need that runoff; we have drought which is rare in the spring. Doesn't bode well. Wildfires are rampant; the ranchers start them to clear pastures. It makes me crazy too. They kill all the little creatures like turtles.

Beautiful scenarie. The water must be freezing though!
As an amateur all-places swimmer I always wonder about these things :-)

Aphrodite looks a little chilly. Why won't kids dress for the weather?
