distracted.....

The best thing about blizzards is that you can take the day off and play.  Avalanches, slushy roads, and responsibilities can wait.....The sun will shine soon and life will get busy. But today.....heavy snowfall warnings kept me home....and my head somewhere else entirely......

Hello Susan:
This appears to us to be making exceptionally good use of the day, regardless of sun or snow.

I love snow days. So freeing. Like an extra day - not to get caught up, but just to be whatever you want.

Just stopping by to say thanks so much for your glowing comments on my living room and new wall art. It has taken me over a year to pull this seldom used room together so confirmation that I have pulled it off decently is more than appreciated. :D

So I am wondering where you live that you received that crazy storm. That would be a typical winter here in the midwest but for some reason we are busing out the flip flops and tank tops. Crazy.

Love the colors you are working with here. Fresh and inspiring with those vibrant colors.

it seems that the depth of summer is springing from the midst of your winter - my eyes were resting happily on all that turquoise, my favorite color.....

I would love to have a stream near here that was that colourful & joyful. A nice way to spend a snow day.

I hope this weekend has brought some sunshine your way. We had a bit yesterday, but the rains are on the way now.

OH MY....We had hardly ANY SNOW here in Minnesota, so SNOW is almost a foreign word to me now!!!! But look what your SNOW DAY has produced here!!!! I could swear that the reason Minnesota has produced so many wonderful poets, writers, inventors and such is because of having to stay INSIDE and DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE!!!

THANK YOU for your visit and support with your kind words about WALKING AWAY. I like to think of it as walking FORWARD and sure, it will be tough. But I would rather live the rest of my life THINKING, CREATING, DISCOVERING rather than struggling to chase the dreams and plans of others.....rebellious artist, I guess!!!

PEACE! Anita

Heavy snowfall! We're supposed to drop below freezing, but no snow, thankfully.
