As a youth I was always instructed to follow the "straight and narrow" path. Advice that really was not that helpful. It is on the wrong turns and winding roads where we find ourselves. We learn from our mistakes. We blossom with life experience.......

I love love the branches! I have a thing for trees, I paint them constantly and have to admit that my favorite state is barren empty branches. I don't know if it's asthetic or just the idea of nakedness, not hiding anything...but full of the promise of spring's coming cloak of green. Beautiful!
I like the slogan sometimes seen on supporters' buttons at gay pride parades: "straight but not narrow."
These colors are absolutely sizzling HOT...I loved the previous post, too, with that smiling white dog inside that wonderful interior you call home.
My high school's motto was 'keep well the road' I think I always appreciated that it allowed for any road you chose- just to stick with it.
sometimes the blossoming is the very best adventure of all.
beautiful colors and textures!
and the words are so true. i think most of us have to learn the hard way about many things. and for some reason that is ok, and it sure makes things stick. at least for some of us! :)
Great point. :0 ) Love your work!
