no more whining.....(not even sometimes!)

Macey had her first swim of the year....
skunk cabbage poking up....

Jose still likes the snow!

water will be rising soon....

blue sky and pine trees.....

no underbrush yet so it is easy to hike around.

A weekend of sunshine really changes things around here. In no time now, the scenery will change from winter drab to lush, spring green. Locals have emerged from their dens pale and frail and more than a little bushed. Immediately smiles appear and gardening and athletic pursuits consume the community. The melt has begun and soon the Slocan River will run high and fast. This is what we have all been waiting for.....

This is that kinda itchy time of year.....we're itching to get out and have some outdoor time. Had some this last weekend and it was glorious....now we have another snowstorm moving our way.....spring, gotta love it, or NOT.
Beautiful scenery even in the drabber tones of winter. You live in a glorious place. Oma Linda

Awwww, I like your doggies. We had a dog who LOVED the snow & stayed away from the fireplace. Wasn't it too cold for a swim? Lol

OMGOODNESS, your Macy is just DARLING! Looks like a Jack Russell persuasion, but no spots! Well, we have finally got a dose of spring, but it seems more like SUMMER NOW! STRANGE weather for Minnesota, but we are taking it! THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT and birthday wishes! Have a super day, Anita
