beauty day for a walk along Kootenay Lake....

The clouds lifted today and the sun shone. It felt great to get outside and experience our beautiful waterfront. Quiet, serene, peaceful....beauty day for a walk along Kootenay Lake.....

where am I coming from......

Nelson, British Columbia sparkles with spectacular scenery, an old time ambience, talented artists, and an incredibly vibrant community. People walk around with smiles on their faces. Mermaid Gallery was perched on the hillside, on the fringe of the downtown core, with a lovely view of Kootenay Lake. Many artists, tourists, and townsfolk enjoyed it's cheerful vibe. The town is very small though and during those shoulder seasons there was very little business. Online marketing seemed to be the alternative to a storefront, and during the fall of 2009 we closed Mermaid Gallery's doors....... s'alright though...because I'm still in contact with the universe here.....
