New art supplies get me all excited. I find that Canadian art supply stores are sadly not stocking lots of great stuff that is available in the states. This crackle paint, I discovered through research online, and then found on ebay, is fantastic. It's thick and globby, so not for detail work, but I'm going crazy with it. Last night I added crackle paint to probably a dozen paintings and I can't wait to finish them up. Stay tuned....then get crackling!

Your artwork is BEAUTIFUL... I'm so happy to find your blog because I *love* mermaids and anything that has to do with art *and* the ocean so a lot of your artwork is right up my alley.
