every pot and pooch sung for me......

I had a lot of help with this glaze firing. The kiln goddess sat back by the chimney flue and made sure the long flames of the two torches reached every piece in the kiln. The pack of watchdogs were made with love for my dear, departed Pablo and they made sure there were no problems on every level of the firing. This firing was to help me figure which glaze treatment I would use for further work. It has been a long time since I filled my cupboard with new bowls and mugs and I am loving the feel of my efforts. Any good potter knows that your glazes need to sing and in this firing every pot and pooch sung for me......

Perfectly beautiful bowls, and handsome pooches! I love buying a bowl here and there - I have a neat collection now of mismatched cereal/icecream/whatever bowls that I enjoy using so much!
