the ladies at the Muna market.....

We met lots of Mayan ladies at the Muna market .......after we had bought their baskets, loofahs, shawls, blouses, dresses, pumpkin seeds, freshly made chile powder, bananas, avocados, ....I would ask if I could take a picture, wait for permission,...and then very quickly, without a flash,.....take a pic......  They were so beautiful........and they didn't mind me, really.....

Gorgeous photos. They are truly beautiful. As are you for taking their photos. Many would walk past or purchase and leave and not see the beautiful ancestors somewhere in their DNA peeking through. The Olde Bagg, Linda

Real women with real faces -- beautiful! And I love those white blouses with the embroidered or lace yokes.

More incredible, expressive faces; these are women who have seen life, some of it quite sad, yet they find joy in your taking their photos. I love that.
