The pigeons had a lovely home..... old boxes , a little shade, and a cactus garden.......the simple pleasures of having a couple of buddies about.....pretty birds......
I have to admit there is no animal in the world I hate as much as pigeons. They are like a rat or cockroach to me- They nest in their feces. We have major problems in our city with them- We've spent lots of time and money trying to get them off our roof- It's so interesting that there are places where they are welcomed with open boxes!
p.s. if you want you can easily widen your blog margins (under the design section of blogger). you can adjust the margins so that your photos completely fit within the grey block area. or not if you don't want to! :)
i appreciate your kind comments over at my blog and am enjoying the opportunity now to visit your lovely place........what an explosion of flora, fauna and color -- and your paintings are amazing!!!
also am intrigued to read of your experience at the caves of matala....we have a definite connection with joni mitchell - i love 'carey'

My baby sister feels the same way as Ren. But I like them - love the cooing and the iridescent feathers.

I love that the birds are given space to nest. Clever to use old boxes!
