a walk on the beach.......

the  message is...don't throw your garbage in the ocean!!
the locals told us, "Coca on board...the military took them out...."
same fate....
I never bring home shells anymore...they are part of the landscape......
big storm coming in.......
watching us....
just hanging out in the mangrove next to the beach......good camouflage....
sting ray stuck in a tidal pool...glad I didn't step on him! That is a big stinger....
coral on the beach.....
love the colors....
don't know what it is......but the spiral is amazing....
It's like I've gone Mexican or something....I haven't blogged about Canada , my home and native land, for a very long time.....but, (snivel, snivel) it is really ugly here STILL...and nobody wants to see dirty snow melt. So, how about a walk on the beach in sunny Mexico......

I wish I were at the beach right now.

Beautiful photos, I'm afraid I still can't resist bring just one shell back from a holiday as a memento. The Spring has sprung here in Wales just this week, we have leaves on the trees again and lambs in the fields, and the birds are singing at 5am, when does Spring come to Canada?

Wonderful notion about never taking shells home again...leaving them in their natural environment.

And I'm loving all your Mexican posts...might as well put them out there while they're hot! Especially if you're feeling cold in Canada.

Yes, I don't like leaving my Florida cottage behind...one day, when our grandsons start ignoring us by having their own lives, we'll live here year round. But, we love going up for the summer for a change of scenery, baseball games, baby boys, birthday parties and family picnics...it's all good. One day, we'll be so old, we won't want to take the 3-day drive back and forth. Meanwhile, we're excited about going north for the summer (even though it's just as hot up there as it is in Florida) to reconnect with everyone...old neighbors, etc.

Funny. As I was watching at the pictures I was telling to myself:
- This woman really belongs to Mexico.
You do seem to be very much part of it, the way you look at things there.
